Then carry the theme to the table by serving snacks and appetizers in playful Pepper Salad Bowls. With a little creativity, some fun fabric, and a few IZZE orange drinks, it’s easy to treat your favorite ladies to a smokin’ hot spread.

Mini Pepper Garland

Mini Pepper Garland

A handful of mini peppers and some ribbon are all you need to unfurl a party banner that really packs a punch! Try alternating colors, playing with spacing, or adding hanging letters to make it your own – then drape it in a doorway or on the backs of guests’ chairs.

What you need:

  • Mini Peppers
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors

Directions:

  • Arrange your peppers and roll out your ribbon.
  • Cut 5 inch pieces of curling ribbon and tie a pepper onto each one.
  • Tie each pepper’s ribbon onto a longer garland ribbon. Use scissors to curl the small pieces for an extra festive touch!

Pepper Salad Bowls

Pepper Salad Bowls

Even serving a salad seems more festive when it is delivered in individual cut pepper bowls that add a fun pop of color to any table.

What You'll Need:
  • Assortment of large peppers
  • Knife
  • Salad or other dish to serve inside pepper bowls
Directions:
  1. Insert a knife into the top 1/3 of the pepper and create a zig-zag pattern all the way around the pepper.
  2. Lift off the top of the pepper and clean out the seeds from both the pepper bowl and the top.
  3. Fill with a fresh salad or other dish!

TIP: You can absolutely use this idea for other fruits and vegetables! Serve up dessert in carved out oranges. Display appetizers in carved out tomatoes! The possibilities are endless.

Lemon Votives

Lemon Votives

Set the mood for a fabulous evening with friends with sparkling votive holders made from fresh-picked lemons.

What you need:

  • Lemons (1 lemon makes 2 votives)
  • White Tea Light Candles
  • Knife
  • Matches

Directions:

  • Cut your lemons in half widthwise to create two votives.
  • Cut out the inside of the lemon until it’s completely carved out.
  • Drop a tea light into each lemon half.
  • Light and enjoy, or embellish with a green leaf.

COURTNEY’S TIP: Try this DIY idea with limes, peppers, or other fruits and vegetables for even more lighting fun! Using a large fruit like a watermelon? Float multiple candles in water inside the fruit!

Pop of Pepper Vase

Pop of Pepper Vase

Jazz up a regular bouquet of flowers with this effortlessly unique centerpiece that’s sure to attract attention at any fiesta.

What you need:

  • Mini Peppers
  • Two Vases (one smaller than the other so it will fit inside with room available between the vases)
  • Flowers
  • Knife

Directions:

  • Prepare and arrange your flowers inside the smaller vase.
  • Place the smaller vase inside the larger one.
  • Drop mini peppers down into the space between the vases.
  • Use a knife to slice peppers in half for tight spaces and to allow more peppers to fill the space.
  • Once the space is full, display and enjoy!

COURTNEY’S TIP: Try this idea with lemon or lime slices too (the smell is fabulous!).
